STUDENT CATEGORY	ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS
Undergraduate (UG): After 2nd Year / 4th Sem. Postgraduate (PG): Currently Enrolled. Graduates: Within 6 months of final exams. PhD Scholars: Researching in relevant fields.	Class 12th Marks: Min 85% Aggregate. Graduation Marks: Min 70% Aggregate. Physics & Maths must be cleared at 10+2 level for Tech domains.

• Verticals: Agriculture, Data Management & Analysis, Education, Energy, Governance, Health, Infrastructure, Skill Development.
• Mode of Work: Primarily On-site at NITI Aayog Headquarters, New Delhi. (Remote options at department discretion).
• Certification: An official Experience Certificate is issued by the Adviser of the concerned division upon successful completion.
• Live Projects: Engage in real-time policy drafting and implementation monitoring (Atmanirbhar Bharat, SDG goals).

Step-by-Step Registration Process:

1. Visit the official portal at internship.niti.gov.in between the 1st and 10th of the month.
2. Scroll down to the "Internship Scheme" section and click "Apply Online".
3. Register using a valid email ID and create a secure password.
4. Fill in your Personal Details and Academic Records (Class 10, 12, and Degree).
5. Select your "Area of Interest" (Domain) carefully as this determines your department.
6. Upload a Bonafide Certificate and No Objection Certificate (NOC) from your College/HOD.
7. Submit the form and note down your Application Reference Number for tracking.
