NIFT Entrance Exam (NIFTEE) 2026 Stage-II
NOTIFICATION DETAILS : The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the Stage-II Exam City Details (City Intimation Slip) for the National Institute of Fashion Technology Entrance Exam (NIFTEE) 2026 on its official website. The city intimation slip was released on 18 April 2026. Candidates who have qualified for the Stage-II examination can now check their allotted exam city.
⚠️ Note: The city intimation slip is not the admit card. It only indicates the city where your exam will be held. The Stage-II Admit Card will be released separately in the coming days.

| Bachelor of Fashion Technology (B.F.Tech.) | Passed Class 12th with Mathematics as a subject, or hold a 3–4 year Engineering Diploma from a recognized institution. Must meet age criteria and be an Indian citizen. |
| Master of Design (M.Des.) | Bachelor's Degree in any stream from a recognized university, or possess a 3-year Diploma from NIFT or NID. Must meet age limit and be an Indian citizen. |
| Master of Fashion Management (M.F.M.) | Bachelor's Degree in any stream from a recognized university, or a 3-year Diploma from NIFT or NID. Must meet age criteria and be an Indian citizen. |
| Master of Fashion Technology (M.F.Tech.) | Completed B.F.Tech from NIFT or hold a B.E./B.Tech degree from a recognized university. Must meet age requirements and be an Indian citizen. |
Selection Process
- Stage-I: Written Examination (CBT) – GAT & CAT (for B.Des) / GAT (for B.F.Tech)
- Stage-II: Situation Test (for B.Des) / Personal Interview (for PG programmes)
- Document Verification (DV)
- Medical Examination
Exam Pattern & Marking Scheme
- UG Programmes (B.Des): GAT (30%), CAT (50%), Situation Test (20%)
- UG Programmes (B.F.Tech): GAT (100%)
- PG Programmes (M.Des): GAT, CAT, and Personal Interview
- PG Programmes (MFM / M.F.Tech): GAT and Personal Interview
- Marking Scheme: +1 for correct answer, -0.25 for wrong answer, 0 for unattempted
