📝 Selection Process & Marking Scheme
- Normalization: Marks are calculated using the Percentile-based Normalization method to maintain parity across multiple shifts.
- CBT Weightage: 100% weightage for the final merit list (subject to qualifying PET).
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Shortlisted candidates must perform a weight-carrying task and a timed run. This stage is qualifying only.
- Negative Marking: 1/3 mark was deducted for each incorrect response in the CBT.
- Document Verification (DV): Candidates will be called in a 1:1 ratio based on merit for medical and document checks.
📌 Important Instructions for Candidates
- Region-wise Result: Check your result on the specific regional website (e.g., RRB Allahabad, RRB Bhopal) where you applied.
- Scorecard Download: Individual scorecards showing raw marks, normalized marks, and qualifying status will be released shortly after the merit list.
- PET Readiness: Start practicing for the PET (running 1km in 4min 15sec for males) as the interval between result and PET is usually very short.
- Medical Fitness: Ensure you meet the medical standard (A-2, A-3, B-1, etc.) required for your opted post.
